Owen’s DVD comes out in under one month now and some new details have emerged about the much awaited release. Older archived interviews as well as new interviews are going to make up the documentary portion. As expected, members of Owen’s family including: Bret, Bruce, Keith, Ross, Diana, Georgia, Alison, Ellie, Natalya, Davey Boy Smith and Jim Neidhart were interviewed the collection. A large number of current and past WWE talent have also been shown in the video clips and sneak peek screen capture including: Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, Scott Hall, Chris Jericho, Triple H, Mick Foley to name a few. As noted previously Owen’s wife Martha & their children do not appear in the DVD as they have expressed publicly they will not be supporting the project. The documentary portion is expected to be 1hr 7 mins with disc 2 & 3 being just over 2 and a half hours long. The Blu-ray exclusives are 1hr 17 mins long.

A new exclusive video on the intro to Owen’s DVD has been released on Youtube that you can watch here:

The DVD has also undergone 4 design changes with the cover art. The original versions simply showed a logo with shadowed out photos of Owen in the background. Officials though ruled that the cover was not suitable or up to standard for Owen. The next version of the cover shows the same photo of Owen as the latest version, however the background behind Owen looked similar to an arena ceiling with lighting rigs on it. Officials decided that they did not want to offend anyone by having the background look like an arena ceiling. To tastefully respect the tragic way Owen based they removed the background to get the final cover you see below:
